All fees are in US dollars. 
The annual membership year runs from January to December.


Parity of Fees

Each country is assigned a tier in order to have fair membership dues. Please check the Parity of Fees chart below and apply your tier to whichever teaching member category applies to you (for example: dual ISMETA member discount, new certified teacher, retired teacher). 2025 Membership Dues Breakdown

 


 Definitions of Member Type

Teaching Member: AT Teachers certified through ATI or through ATI recognition process.

Trainee Member: Trainee Members can maintain their ATI trainee membership at no cost indefinitely while they complete their training, with the expectation that they will become ATI teaching members in a reasonable time frame.

Discount For 1st and 2nd Year Teachers: Teaching members who are in the first two years after completion of training course or apprenticeship.

Retired Teaching Member: For anyone no longer teaching the Alexander Technique.

General Member: General Membership is for advocates and supporters of Alexander’s work who enjoy the sense of community and wish to be a part of ATI’s Vision. General Members can volunteer to fill important roles in the organization like any other member and are welcome to all events.

Lifetime Members: Lifetime Membership is awarded to those members who have made exceptional contributions to ATI and to the Alexander Technique teaching profession. They are selected by members and approved by the board.

Honorary Members: Honorary Membership is awarded to those outside the ATI community who ATI wishes to recognize for their contributions to advancing the Alexander Technique teaching profession.
