About UsWho we areATI is a non-profit organization with a current global membership of over 400 people living in 22 countries. We encourage members to be active in their regional communities and support their different cultural needs. We use our online forums and our members-only site to communicate and work together. Our website utilizes Google Translate for non-English speakers. We use interpreters and professional translators to accommodate our international membership. We are a diverse group of Alexander enthusiasts who love coming together and enjoy sharing the work. Each year the ATI Annual Conference is held in a different country to support the teachers in the host country and to bring an Alexander presence into that community. You do not need to be a member of ATI to attend or to present a workshop at the conference. What we doATI offers a unique teacher certification process where a trainee or teacher is evaluated by ATI Sponsors. There are opportunities to meet and work with ATI Sponsors at the annual conference. ATI also recognizes teaching certificates of many international Alexander Technique societies. You can learn more by following this link to the Become an ATI Teacher page. When we come together, we are fueled by each other’s ideas to improve our selves through learning and teaching. This energy is what connects and moves us forward from our inception in 1992 to our ever evolving and expanding community. |
