Jennifer Kellow

Jennifer Kellow, R.N. ATI Teaching Member is a pioneer in using the Alexander Technique with preterm infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She combines her skill as an Alexander Technique teacher with her expertise as a neonatal nurse and her study of infant development. Working with premature babies and brain injured infants and toddlers, she has developed a highly effective way to help all infants learn easy breathing, sound sleep, calm feeding, smooth digestion, coordinated movement. Jennifer has presented her innovative work with preterm infants and brain injured children at hospitals in NY, NJ and PA and at major international conferences for health professionals and for Alexander Technique teachers. Jennifer is also trained in NIDCAP® (Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program), a developmentally supportive model of care that includes detailed observation and behavioral analysis of preterm infants in the NICU.
