Gabrielle Czaja

Gabrielle Czaja, PT, mATI, mAmSAT is an Alexander Technique teacher, licensed physical therapist and holistic educator. For 35 years Gabrielle has helped adults heal from complex injuries and stress-related conditions, and helped children strengthen developmental foundations for movement and learning. She is especially passionate about educating children with Alexander principles, empowering them with tools for discovering how to be their fullest, truest self. A graduate of Bucknell University, Hahnemann University and The Alexander Foundation, Gabrielle is a certified Alexander in Education teacher, and is a co-director for The Developing Self-USA. She also has advanced training in Jessica Wolf’s Art of Breathing. Gabrielle is known as a dynamic presenter of group workshops for educational and health professionals, students, and parents. Most recently, she taught an extensive Alexander Technique program at DC Youth Orchestra Program, and presented at the The Developing Self online conference about the intersection of Alexander Technique and Reflex Integration. In her private practice in Washington DC, Gabrielle’s clients appreciate her accessibility and deep knowing that little victories along the way are cause for celebration, and a measure of success.
