2025 ATI Pre-Day Information

Trainees | Sponsors

For those who want to become an ATI Certified Teacher, the upcoming ATI Annual Conference Pre-Day offers a wonderful opportunity to complete your Certification Processing Sessions.  The Pre-day is the only day we can guarantee that ATI Teacher Certification processing sessions will be available during the Annual Conference. If the need arises, a supplemental morning session may be scheduled for those who will be in attendance at the entire ATI Annual Conference.

We are doing things a bit differently than in years past.

Please review the following details carefully.

Pre-Day Registration will be separated from the Conference Registration for 2025.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

STEP 1:

Complete the Pre-Day Application Form and pay the $100 non-refundable registration fee by 1 June 2025.
NOTE: the $100 registration fee covers the cost of 1 certification session.
There is a lot that goes into orchestrating a Pre-Day: Certification sessions require ATI Sponsors, interpreters, volunteer students, and a workspace. To ensure everything is organized we must plan in advance thus the 1 June deadline.
NOTE: We accept applicants in the order their applications arrive.

STEP 2:

Complete and submit your Demonstration of Knowledge by 1 July 2025.
As of the 2024 Annual General Meeting, Demonstration of Knowledge must be completed prior to your certification sessions. Please refer to the ATI Certification Procedures for more details.

STEP 3:

You will be notified of your acceptance to the Pre-Day Teacher Certification Processing Sessions in July.

SPONSORS

Things to Know About Being A Sponsor At Pre-Day

  • Sponsors are expected to be present at Pendle Hill and ready to assess candidates by 8:30am on Sunday, 19 October.
  • Sponsors are not paid directly by the Trainee in this scenario. The Certification Fees are paid to ATI to cover the overhead cost of Pre-Day.
  • Sponsors will receive a complimentary single room on Saturday, 18 October as well as breakfast and lunch on Sunday, 19 October. Dinner is not provided on evening of Saturday, 18 October.
  • The Certification Sessions are scheduled to occur all day (9am-5pm). If there is a need, additional sessions may be held after dinner. You may be expected to do up to 3 certification sessions on Sunday.

STEP 1:

Complete the Pre-Day Sponsor Interest Form by DATE.
This form is letting the Certification Coordinating Committee (CCC) know that you are interested as an elected Sponsor to come to Pre-Day and certify Trainees. Completing this form does not guarantee you will be chosen to be a Sponsor for Pre-Day.

STEP 2:

You will hear back from the CCC in mid-July if you have been chosen to be a Sponsor for Pre-Day.
Please feel free to register for The Annual Conference at any point that works for you. The ATI Office will work with you on adjusting your registration so it is accurate.
