Brief Description of Event:

Using a synthesis of the Alexander Technique, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization principles, optimal acoustics, exquisite singing technique, and artistry, we will be soaring into principles of aerodynamics, the recoil of the respiratory mechanism, the functions of the diaphragm, functional intra-abdominal pressure, and how it relates to respiration in singing, and the emergent tonus of the abdominal wall.There are many ideas about breathing and initiating sound, and though well-intentioned, they are often incorrect or incomplete. This workshop will present the most current, accurate, and comprehensive information and approach to stabilizing the core within the context of the entire body. Dynamic support is essential for optimal functioning.With decades of experience as athletes, performers, and coaches, these three experts in their fields share a passion for unlocking our natural ability to perform and live with more ease, vitality, and authenticity.⁠
